IKEA Centres is IKEA Group’s new global shopping centre company. We develop and manage retail destinations for the many people, anchored by IKEA stores. IKEA Centres offers great opportunities to develop meeting places of the future, strengthen relations with tenants and spread retail ideas across borders. IKEA Centres has shopping centres in Russia, Europe and China and comprises 46 shopping centres and four retail parks in 11 countries, totalling more than 3 million square metres of GLA and approximately 400 million visitors annually.
In France, IKEA Centres own 3 shopping centres located in Bry-sur-Marne, Reims and Avignon and is now developing more retail destinations.
As Lease Manager you are responsible for shopping centers leasing, using your knowledge of the retail and brands, in the respect of the budget goals and schedule.
You report to the Head of Leasing.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Find and attract new tenants,
- Negociate and agree Lease Agreements with possible tenants in accordance with our goals,
- Take part in the project definition and adapt it to the customer target and tenants request,
- Take part in the commercialization goals definition (brand number and kind of tenants), merchandising and rent schedule establishment.
Your background shows minimum 5 years experience in real estate, good experience in lease agreement, good retail knowledge and ability to create and keep an atmosphere of mutual trust with the brands.
You have good negotiating and analytical skills, you are open-minded.
You have good communication skills, both written and verbally.
You speak and write English on a good level and have no problem in creating presentations in the English language.
You have a good level in French, written and verbally.
Domestic and sometimes international traveling is part of the assignment.
